I've been a long haul truck driver for the better part of the last thirty years and as with most of the drivers I share the roadways of North America with I've seen alot of country.
In my travels I've come across a lot of interesting and beautiful sights, fantastic places to eat and yes there are the ugly things as well.
I've put together this channel in a effort to share some of the experiences my career as a professional driver has brought me. I've seen a lot and my fellow truckers have seen even more and because of that I've created special categories where I invite them to share their experiences.
There are a number of truckers involved in programs that link them with children in schools around the country where these kids get to travel with them via letters they post to each other. It was my feeling that more people should know of all the good truckers do and for this reason I have a category (Truckn' Pen Pals) especially for these drivers and their classroom pen pals. Here they and the classes they communicate with can send letters to and have them posted for the world to see. This is also a place where the parents of these children can go to see the interaction between there children and these truckers
It is my fervent hope that other truckers and the people who interact with them will allow me to share their experiences with the world -- we used to be known as the "Knights of the Blacktop" and I would like to show the world that for the most part we still are.
